Long Weekend

I had spring break this last week it was a short break but it was wonderful, Cody is at the end of his second semester at BYU in the MBA program and in the middle of finals I thought for sure I wouldn't see much of him but it was actually the opposite we had the most wonderful last three whole days together. On Thursday we woke up from sleeping in and went and worked out at our little gym that we have here at our place. I left to go get my hair done and Cody went to play racquetball with some of his buddies from the program then when I got home from getting my hair done. We went out to lunch with Cody's parents Peggy and Dan. We went home and just hung out for a few hours and then we went out to dinner with some of Cody's friends from the MBA program and then we went shopping for Cody to get a few things for him to start his new internship next week he is so excited for it. We will be staying here in Provo for the summer Cody got a internship in Salt Lake working for a company called UV Partners.

Don't worry our fun continued on Friday we once again slept in then got up Cody had to go into school to pick up a take home test and start working on it. So I went up to Park City and met up with my friend Jess to have lunch and to do some shopping at the Outlets. When I got home from my unsuccessful trip to the Outlets Cody and I went to a movie then to Costco to do a little shopping and sample tasting then we had a slice of Costco pizza for dinner.

On Saturday we got up and played some Frisbee with the two of us and then we went for a run, well Cody went for a run and he pulled me along behind him. Then we went and played a game of softball, I love softball the last two years Cody and I have been on a coed softball team together and this year I'm sad to say that we will not be playing softball because the team we usually play on is in Salt Lake and we don't know enough people here in Provo to put a team together. So we were invited to play just for fun with a bunch of Cody's MBA friends and their wives, except I was the only wife that showed up so I didn't really want to play being the only girl but Cody made me and I'm so glad he did because once I started to play I had so much fun and now I want to play more! After our fun game of Softball we hurried home to get ready for a dinner that Cody was invited to go to from a program that he was in at school!

It has been such a wonderful long weekend I don't want it to end but now that Cody is almost done with school hopefully we will have more of this weekends together.

I didn't take any pictures of our weekend so here are some from our trip to Europe last summer!

Easter Eggs

On Thursday night we invited some of our friends from our ward and some of Cody's buddies from his MBA program and their wives and kids over to dye Easter Eggs. Here Cody is dying an egg with one of the little girls.
This is our friend's from our ward they are so cute and so much fun to hang out with, I'm going to miss them when they move to New York!

Cody and I showing off our eggs!

Here is the whole gang, we had so much fun we dyed 48 eggs, ate food, and laughed. Since March I have been telling Cody how excited I was for dying eggs and he never sounded to excited to do it. So to help him get excited I invited some friends over thinking that he would enjoy dying eggs if he had some other guys doing it with him. And I think he ended up having the time of his life! Just kidding

Doesn't he look so happy with a child in his arm's I think he might be ready for one of our own! What do you think?

Family Time

Last weekend we went to St. George with Cody's family it was so much fun and so nice to get away from school and homework I loved every minute of hanging out with Cody and his family! On Saturday the boys went golfing and us girls went and got our nails done and then went looking at quilt shops! It was a lot of fun hanging out with my sister in-laws and my mother in law! Saturday night all of the kids went out to eat at this place called Samurai 21 it was so good, and they cook it in front of you!
This is our chef I'm not sure what to call him chef or cook, he was so funny and very entertaining he works at a Japanese restaurant so tried to talk with a Japanese accent if that is even possible and he was from Mexico.
Our yummy food!

Cody and I waiting to eat and have a good time with the family!

Cody's sister JesAlign Lefts and her husband Ryan, Cody's other sister Kim and her husband Tyler! It was so much fun hanging out with them I couldn't of asked for better sister in laws and brother in laws.
On Sunday Cody's mom and dad did a Easter egg hunt for us kids and it was so fun and brought back memories from when I was a kid I loved going and doing Easter egg hunts, it has been so long since I have done one so I loved it! Thanks Dan and Peggy it was a blast and it was so much fun hanging out in st. George with all of you guys!
