The Yummy Pizza

While my mom and dad where in town last weekend we took a little trip to Ephraim to watch a Snow College game and it was fun. We won 71 to 0 what a game! After we watched the game we worked up an appetite so of course we had to stop at good old Fat Jacks which is not called Fat Jacks anymore it is now called Roy's, the same great food and everything just a new name which is so lame why do they have to do that change a great name to a great restaurant to a lame name. Anyways Fat Jacks has the best tasting cheese sticks, bread sticks, and pizza in the whole wide Utah! I loved going there while I was going to school and now I love going there if we ever go to Ephraim which isn't often enough! So if you guys ever go to Ephraim I highly recommend to go and eat at Fat Jack's now called Roy's!

Sports

I joined a flag football team through Cody's program at byu with some of the other wife's it has been so much fun. I have had so much fun and I'm so glad I did it, we have only played three games and each game we seem to be getting better. We lost our first game by a lot and then our second game we lost by a just a few points but then our third game we won! Oh yeah!
Another sport that I joined with the same girls is indoor soccer now that sport I don't enjoy as much it is to much running, and I'm not as young as I used to be when I played soccer in high school. I run half way down the field and all I want to do is fall on the ground and throw up, I am so out of shape it isn't even funny! It was fun to try playing again but it isn't something that I want to do everyday! Cody has been a great sport on coming to all my games and cheering me on, he is my number one fan! Cody is on a flag football team and a ultimate Frisbee team with some guys from his program, Cody is a hard core team player One time while I was on the side lines cheering him on he went diving for the Frisbee through the air almost into my arms. It was a pretty amazing stunt on his part although he didn't feel like it for a couple of days after that. I'm so glad that we had this opportunity to play these sports, because I love it!!

Running

This is kind of old but I have been wanting to blog about it for awhile and now have the time to do it. A couple of weekends ago Cody was asked by one of his buddy's to fill in for him in a race, that he was suppose to do but he was going to be out of town and couldn't do it so he asked Cody if he could do it in his place. Cody said yes but also told him he hadn't ran much this summer so he might be a little slow, I still knew Cody would make good time. Me on the other hand if someone asked me to fill in at the last minute to run in a race I'm sure I would pass out a block into it, I guess it is a good thing I wasn't the one asked to run. Well Cody was on a team of four to run a Marathon around Provo, Cody had to run just under seven minutes and he finished in a great time. I was so proud of him and I was actually there at the finish line to see him, well actually I was parking the car when he finished so I wasn't able to cheer him on like I wanted to but I saw him finish.

Work

Well I finally started work last week, and I never thought I would say this but I was excited to start work again. Only because all summer Cody and I played together all summer long, because both of us had the summer off. Once Cody started school I didn't have anyone to hang out with any more. So I was filling my days with going to the gym, cleaning, and spending hours at Target wishing to buy everything but had no money to buy anything that I wanted. I'm pretty sure all of the Target employees were seriously wondering if I was homeless because I spent so much time there.
Work has been good so far I haven't started to teach yet. The kids first day of school is next Monday the 22ND, last week me and my co-teacher had to go visit our students at there homes to meet there families and to see what there home situations were like. It was neat to meet all of the kids one on one and get to play with them. This week we are putting our room together which seems like it is endless. And then we have training's for the second part of the week. I'm excited to have the kids come and to finally hang out with them and watch them grow into little flowers (OK that was cheesy but I just had to add it).

Labor Day Camping

We went camping over Labor day weekend we went up Friday and came home late Saturday Morning. It was a short trip but it was so much fun. We have been wanting to go camping with our friends Megan and Brad all summer. Our friend Kristi came home for the weekend and we decided we better go camping before the summer is over and we can't go. So Shannon, John, Kristi, Tiff, Brad, Megan and baby Abbie all went up and ate tin foil dinners, Cody and my favorite camping dinner and then we just hung out and played games until the late hours of the night. It was so much fun, I love camping!

Homemade Bread

So if you can't tell this is a loaf of bread. On Sunday I realized that we didn't have any bread and so I didn't know what I was going to do for Cody's lunch on Monday. Then I remembered that I have been wanting to try to make homemade bread with my bread maker, that we got for our wedding. So I pulled out the bread maker and all the ingredients, started the machine and let it go to work. Three hours later I went to take it out of the machine and it looked like this, well to me it looks like a pile of cooked dough not like a loaf of bread. Well we picked at it for a minute and it tasted OK. The next morning I went to go throw it away and it was as hard as a rock. I guess I can say that I tried to make bread. I will try to make bread again but not today, hopefully when I do try again it will look like a loaf of bread and not a lump of cooked dough.
