Our Trip To Europe

Our sixth stop was Athens, Greece. Where we went to the Acropolis and had a great tour by Dan Campbell and it was a great tour.

Once we got to the top there was a great view, we rented ATV's and drove them all around it was so fun. Before we ended our day in Santorini we went for a swim in the ocean it was fun.

Our fifth stop was Santorini, Greece where we rode donkeys up this huge hill to get to the town it was so much fun and funny to see what our donkeys were going to do next. I felt bad for them they had to climb up lots and lots of stairs with us on them they were breathing so heavy, but they were champs never giving up.
After the Italian farm we went to Pompeii to visit the world famous excavations
Our fourth stop was Naples where we went to a farm and had a tour and we watched this lady make mozzarell cheese and then we were able to sample it, Yummy!

Our third stop at Civitavecchia - Rome, where we saw the Coliseum it was so big and amazing
Our second stop was to Livorno where we saw the famous Leaning Tower
This was our first stop on our cruise Villefranche.
The whole family on the cruise ship
While we were in Barcelona we went to this market and ate breakfast there. I thought it was so neat they had vegetables, fruits, meats, and candy. This is a picture of candy it was pretty cool.

This is in Barcelona, it is a really neat building that was done by a famous guy named Gaudi.

This is the Eiffel Tower, this is the best picture that I could figure out how to put on my blog. The Eiffel Tower was amazing we went to the very top and it was pretty neat to look out over Paris.

Here we are at Hampton Court Palace

So we just returned from our adventure out of the country and it was a blast. We went to so many places and saw so many neat things. We took hundreds of pictures of everywhere that we went but I just wanted to share with you guys a few things that we saw. Well we started our trip off in London and we started early in the morning and went until late at night. We had to fit so much site seeing in such a short time so we had no time to waste. Once our time was up in London off we were to Paris the same applied for Paris as it did for London we had so much to see and do in little time. After we finished our time in Paris we headed to Barcelona where we meet Cody's mom and dad, we spent two days in Barcelona before hoping on the cruise ship to start a whole new adventure. On the ship we stopped at Villefranche, Livorno, Cicitavecchia -Rome, Naples, Santorini - Greece, Athens - Greece, Dubrovnik - Croatia, and then we ended our trip with two days in Venice. It was a great time and I will have the memories forever! Europe

Jaron helping in the kitchen!

Jaron washing his dishes from making his lemonade with the helmet on!

Jaron making some yummy lemonade wearing Cody's motorcycle helmet.

The last night that Angie's family was with us, Jaron found Cody's motorcycle helmet and he thought it was pretty neat so he asked Cody if he could wear it, Cody said yes and Jaron was so excited that he came into the kitchen where I was making some lemonade and asked if he could mix it. I thought that it was pretty funny that he was wearing this big helmet and just wanted to help in the kitchen. When he finished making the lemonade he wanted to do the dishes so he did that as well with the helmet on his head. Then it was time to go to bed so he asked Cody if he could sleep with it on. Cody said that it was OK, but when Angie went into check on the kids and saw Jaron trying to sleep with this over sized helmet on his head she said that he couldn't sleep with it on. I thought Jaron was so cute, wanting to wear Cody's helmet while he was helping me in the kitchen then wanting to wear it to bed.

Birthday Bash!

On June 26th it was my sister Angie's birthday and her family and her were in Utah visiting so for her birthday we went to Thanksgiving Point to a petting zoo. It was fun to look at all the fun animals that they had and to pet them. The kids and Cody loved it, Cody really enjoyed the roosters he was talking to them for awhile and they would come over to him and look at him and check it out it was pretty neat. After the animals they had a couple little old time buildings that you could go inside and play in. Kelsie loved running in them and just hanging out she thought it was pretty neat. One of the building's was a jail the kids got a kick out of being stuck behind bars. After we got everyone out of jail the kids went on a pony ride, they loved riding the pony's, what little kid wouldn't love to go on a pony ride. Before we left the kids were able to go on a hay ride which they thought was pretty cool!

After Thanksgiving Point, we went to a place called Jump On It! It is a place were they have just a ton of trampolines all over the place and you just jump. The kids loved it and Angie and I also had alot of fun. It was a lot of hard work, we only paid to jump for a half hour and 15 minutes into jumping I was so tired and out of it, but I didn't give in I kept jumping until the end of our time. Angie had a blast to and that is what mattered because it was her birthday and you have to have fun on your birthday!

Cody's hair cut!

On Thursday night Cody was getting ready to go and do the Wasatch Back relay race, while he was running around gathering all of his stuff he turned to me and said that he wanted to get a hair cut, but he said that at 9:30 at night when everything had already closed. For awhile he has been wanting to shave his head but I was never to sure about it. I really liked his hair the way it was. But he was determined to shave it, so he found his clippers and asked our brother in law Kyle to shave his hair. So they went into our bathroom and Cody stood in the bathtub while Kyle shaved off all of his beautiful hair while, I sat in the corner crying that all of his hair was now lying in the bathtub and not on his head where it looked so good! I know Cody has dark hair but when his hair was laying in the white tub his hair looked so black and there was so much of it. After it was all done Cody came out and he was pretty happy about the out come. It doesn't look bad but I do like his longer hair, and hair always grows back right?

Happy Birthday Cody and Kelsie!

On June 18Th was Cody and our niece Kelsie's birthday. To celebrate we went to ChuckeE. Cheese's to party! Everyone had fun the kids and the adults, all of us played lots and lots of games. After we played hard and long at ChuckE. Cheese's we went home to sing happy birthday and eat cake and ice cream and to open up presents. Everyone had fun now both Cody and Kelsie are a year older.
Before we went to ChuckE. Cheese's I frosted the cake, while I was frosting the cake Kelsie came into the kitchen and said she wanted a monkey cake so I suggeseted that we could put a banana on it since monkey's like banana's she thought that was a great idea. So what I was going to do was when I cut her a piece of cake, I was going to slice a banana onto her piece. Well after we got home while we were getting things ready Kelsie wanted to help me, I walked into the kitchen and Kelsie was trying to put the whole banana onto the cake and she was digging a hole into it. It was pretty fun and I'm sad that I didn't get a picture! She just wanted to be helpful!

Nickelcade

Last night we hung out with Cody's friend Jimmy and his son. We went to Nickelcade to play video games, it was a lot of fun. Cody and Jimmy had a competition against each other on Skeeball, Football, and Pacman, it was pretty funny to see them get so worked up over beating each other! Jaron was in heaven because he is always asking me if he can play a game or ride the rides at the stores. So last night was his chance to do it over and over again!

Camping

On Thursday night Cody and I took Jaron camping, it was a lot of fun. We got up there about 6:30 at night and we found our campsite and site up camp. Then we went for a short hike/walk before we cooked dinner. When we got back to our campsite Cody and Jaron cooked our tinfoil dinners in the fire. They did a great job because they turned out so yummy! Cody and I love eating tinfoil dinners, sometimes we even like make them in the oven at home for dinner. After dinner we made smores and got sticky fingers, but it was worth it! Then it was time for bed, we played a couple of games of memory and go fish and then went to bed. In the morning we went for a wonderful hike and Jaron did a great job from start to finish! It was a great time Jaron was sad when it was time to go he thought we were going to camp for a couple of days but we were only there for one night.
