Six Months

On Sunday Cody and I have been married for six months, can you believe that. How time flies when you are having fun. I can't believe it, well the last six months have been wonderful and so much fun. Well on Sunday I attempted to make homemade Cinnamon rolls for the occasion and I planned on them only taking a hour an half to make and bake so I got up early that morning so that they would be done by the time Cody woke up. Well I was wrong my rolls took three hours to make so Cody was up and ready and I had no yummy rolls to surprise him with only the smell of them being prepared.
When the rolls were finally done we hurried and ate them so that we could make it to church on time. Surprisingly my first attempt to homemade Cinnamon rolls were a great success. They looked good and tasted delightful!
For dinner I tried another new recipe and I cooked a pot roast with potatoes and carrots. I love having this meal on Sunday and my mom always does a great job every time she makes it. So I just had to try it on my own so that i could have it more often then just when I go home to eat it. Well it turned out yummy but it wasn't as yummy as my mom's but maybe one day i can get there and do it just as well as my mom.

Picnic

I brought my nephew back to Utah with me from Oregon, My mom drove back with me and is spending a couple of days here with us as well. Today we went up to Bridal Veil to have a picnic and to walk up to the falls. Jaron and Cody had fun playing in the water, Jaron had so much fun he was soaking wet by the time we left. The water was freezing I'm not sure how Jaron was able to play so much in the water. We also took Cody's parents dog, Abbie to play with us while we were there. We had a lot of fun!

Softball

Cody and I are on a softball team and we love to play it is so much fun. We started playing softball together in the fall of 2007, and then we started again on the same team for the summer and it has been a blast. The team we play on is all the way in Salt Lake City and we live in Provo which means it takes us a half hour to 45 min. to get there. But we only play once a week and it is totally worth the drive. My goal this year was to hit a double and I did it was the best night ever. Next I want to hit a home run, I'm probably dreaming to big for that one, but maybe someday! Here are a few pictures of our team and us playing a mad game of softball!

Jaron Graduates from preschool!

Jaron Scott Kenner graduated from preschool today. He was so excited he talked about it all week long. Angie wanted Jaron to look handsome for his graduation so she dressed him in a green and white button up shirt (he looked very handsome). But Jaron didn't want to wear his nice shirt he just wanted to wear a t-shirt. Angie said he could take it off after they took pictures at his school, so he asked if we could take the pictures right at that moment so he could take his shirt off. He is a smart boy. Well he did great he received his little diploma and he smiled for the pictures.

Cody wanted to try the baby sling, carrier out with Karlee. Doesn't he look like a natural?

Happy Unbirthday to you!

While we were at the beach we threw a unbirthday party, because we have so many birthdays that we miss, so we decided to have a birthday party while we were all together. We had a pinata, which was so much fun to try and break and to watch everyone take a swing at breaking it. Then we did a white elephant exchange, then everyone was giving their own cupcake with a candle and we sang happy birthday to everyone. It was fun, we definitely enjoyed ourselves.
